focuses on the injured area of the body, attempting
to trigger the body's own natural repair mechanisms
and stimulate healing.
Tuina utilizes soft tissue manipulation,
moxibustion, hot cups, therapeutic exercise, and structural realignment
methods to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal and internal organ
disorders.
Auriculotherapy or
other therapies are
sometime combined in the treatments in order to
increase the effectivness of the treatment and
shorten recovery time.
